Semicolons

Some people like to end the lines or statements by adding ; semicolons. But JavaScript have ASI (Automatic Semicolon Insertion). And it is optional to use semicolons at the end. There are some rare use cases where you need to add the semicolons like when the line starts with ( opening parenthesis. But I think that is a rare situation, and you don’t need it for normal coding. And if you keep away from bad parts you never encounter these issues.

You can check more on that from https://standardjs.com/.

There are more situations that semicolon insertion in wrong places can make issues than it is another way around. And it is good to follow a http://standardjs.com rules.
